GovRAMP allows us to verify the security posture of the products we provide and demonstrate our cybersecurity compliance to our customers. As adoption grows, we believe GovRAMP can help build confidence, encourage transparency, and drive continuous improvement across all members.

What advice do you have for other providers going through the GovRAMP process?

GovRAMP requires constant learning and growing. Our core values at Jamf are selflessness and relentless self-improvement. These guiding principles lend themselves to this type of process because GovRAMP is not a project with a defined finish line. It’s about continuously improving cybersecurity practices and meeting customer expectations.

How do you stay up to date with the evolving cybersecurity landscape?

The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving, requiring organizations to be prepared to adapt to the latest trends. Jamf Threat Labs, the security and research sector of Jamf, watches for and studies threats affecting macOS and iOS-based users. By gathering relevant data, we can determine attack trends and incorporate protection into Jamf solutions.

How has GovRAMP benefited your organization so far?

The GovRAMP program is another useful tool in our toolbox to help make information decisions on managing risk and improve our overall security posture. In addition, Jamf’s engagement with GovRAMP has helped ensure our public sector customers, including state and local education districts, are able to meet their regulatory obligations and succeed with Apple.
