Why did your organization become a GovRAMP member? 

InfoReady believes strongly in providing a secure environment for our clients to operate in. Our clients trust us to protect their data and we do not take that lightly. We are proud of the work and investments we have made in security. InfoReady has always had a “security first” mentality so becoming a GovRAMP member just makes natural sense. The GovRAMP program provides solid guidance, clear objectives, and sound advice on how to approach various problems 

How do you stay up to date with the evolving cybersecurity landscape? 

Staying current is a daunting task. However, by making security a priority instead of an afterthought, it helps ensure we are evolving with the current tools and risks. We have a team of security minded IT professionals and ensure to hire folks that do not take security for granted. They approach security, and the InfoReady platform, as a “what would I do if it were my data stored there” mentality. As such, we do all we can to stay current on trends, the latest technologies and engage in ethical hacking discussions and conferences. With the support of GovRAMP, we continuously assess our security posture. 

How has GovRAMP benefited your organization so far? 

GovRAMP has brought a lot of clarity as to where to spend our resources. There is a lot of overlap between the various frameworks, certifications, and programs. The IT team can clearly articulate what needs to be done, why it needs to be done, and be confident when it is done. Also, as a member, prospective clients' IT assessments are far simpler and quicker. We simply state that we are a member and there is no further discussion necessary. Both benefits allow us to focus more on product feature development.
